2024 South African Krugerrand 1 oz Silver Bullion Coin

Manufacturer: South African Mint
Dimensions:
38.7mm
Weight (grams):
31.10300
Fineness:
999

The 2024 Krugerrand continues this legendary tradition in a new metal. Much like its gold sibling, the Silver Krugerrand offers investors a great way to own low-premium bullion. Whereas the 2017 Silver Krugerrand was marketed as a higher-premium collector coin, the 2024 as was the 2018, 2019 2020 to 2023 editions were priced at a slim margin over melt. Its market premium is comparable to the Silver Maple Leaf, Britannia, Kangaroo, and Philharmonic. Unlike the other sovereign coins in its class, however, the Krugerrand offers multi-generational demand and recognition. Gold investors have turned to the Krugerrand for over 50 years; now they can own this trusted coin in silver too.

The 2024 1 oz Silver Krugerrand also features its face value as part of the obverse design. The original reverse design of a leaping springbok antelope is also sharper and more defined thanks to the latest computer technology and laser etching techniques. The obverse of this prestigious 2023 silver coin features the well-known portrait of Paul Kruger by Otto Schultz.

Weinman’s artistic signature mark on the field, bringing the modern design closer to the original 1916 image.

2024 Chinese Panda 30 gram 999 Silver Bullion Coin

Manufacturer: Chinese Mint
Dimensions:
40.0mm
Weight (grams):
30
Fineness:
999

The Silver Pandas were first minted in 1983. The first 3 years of mintage were in proof quality condition, and had a limited mintage of 10,000 pieces for each year. No Silver Pandas were struck in 1986, but they have been minted every year since then. Each year, the design of the panda changes making them highly collectible. The only year they didn’t change designs was 2002, which used the same design as 2001.

The People’s Republic of China issues and guarantees the quality of each Silver Panda coin. Silver Panda coins are minted from several mints each year. Those mints include but are not limited to Shenzhen, Shanghai and Shenyang. Unlike the U.S. Mint, these Chinese Mints do not incorporate mint marks to distinguish the difference between each mint. Instead, these mints are known for having minor differences in the design of the coin such as font size, bamboo length and designs of the temple in certain year’s mintages.

The Tiger Snake inhabits much of southern Australia and is known for its striking black and yellow bands, however some Tiger Snakes are without these bold markings. The dark bands allow the snakes to better absorb heat during the short growing season. If threatened, Tiger Snakes can become aggressive, and their bite releases toxic venom, which can be fatal to humans.

Impressively, Tiger Snakes can swim and climb. They can remain submerged underwater for up to nine minutes and have also been found up to 10 metres above ground. They frequently inhabit watery areas including dams, creeks, swamps and wetlands.

2024 Britannia and Liberty 1oz Silver Bullion Coin

Manufacturer: Royal Mint
Dimensions:
38.6 mm x 2.3mm
Weight (grams):
31.1
Fineness:

Collaborating with the United States Mint, we have formed a groundbreaking partnership in which Gordon Summers and Joseph Menna, the Chief Engravers of each of these mints, have collaborated on a coin design together for the first time.

The masterfully crafted design unites the national symbols of Britannia and Liberty, a physical representation of the ‘special relationship’ – a phrase coined by Sir Winston Churchill in 1946 – shared between the United Kingdom and the United States.

Inspired by the concept of court cards, Britannia and Liberty share equal prominence in this masterfully crafted design that represents the skill and experience of each Chief Engraver. The figures also represent fortitude and freedom, virtues that underpin the national identities of both the UK and the US.

Introduced in 1997, the British Silver Britannia was issued for more than 20 years with just one monarch featuring on the obverse of the coins. The 2024 series is the first to boast only coins with the king on the obverse.

The history of the British Silver Britannia is a unique one among major bullion collections. While the gold coins debuted in 1987, the Silver Britannia didn’t debut until a decade later in 1997. From 1997 to 2010, the Royal Mint used alternating designs of Britannia on the reverse.

During that same period, three different portraits of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II featured on the obverse. The shortest-lived was Raphael Maklouf’s third-generation bust of the Queen used only in 1997. From 1998 to 2015, Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of the Queen featured and from 2016 to 2023, Jody Clark’s bust of the Queen was used.

Replacing the bullion finish on earlier coins, the radial lines in the 2023 Silver Maple Leaf field have been precisely machined to within microns on the master tooling to ensure reproducibility from die to die and coin to coin. 38.6 mm
Weight (grams):

“Panta Rhei” – Everything flows and things come and go. When it comes to value, precious metals have always held a crucial position in the world of finance. Nowadays, a safe haven at the very least, a financial norm in the past. Silver currently holds an especially important position in the financial world and we believe it will continue to do so for a long time.

Now and forever.

Heraclitus recognized the fundamental changing of objects with the flow of time (i.e., impermanence) and the philosophical issue of becoming.

He is credited with the phrase πάντα ῥεῖ (panta rhei) “everything flows.”This famous aphorism used to characterize Heraclitus’ thought comes from Simplicius, a neoplatonist, and from Plato’s Cratylus. The word rhei (as in rheology) is the Greek word for “to stream”, and is etymologically related to Rhea according to Plato’s Cratylus. Compare with the Latin adages Omnia mutantur and Tempora mutantur (8 AD) and the Buddhist and Hindu concepts of anicca.
