COIN INFORMATION

The Pink Panther character was created by Friz Freleng and David DePatie. The character made its debut in the opening credits of the 1963 film “The Pink Panther,” which was directed by Blake Edwards. The character became so popular that it led to the creation of a series of animated shorts.

In 1969, the animated shorts featuring the Pink Panther were compiled into a television show titled “The Pink Panther Show.” The show included not only Pink Panther cartoons but also introduced other animated characters like The Inspector and The Ant and the Aardvark.
