The premium bullion coin celebrates the “King of the Outback” and one of Australia’s most famous landmarks – the Red Kangaroo. The coin was struck by the Royal Australian Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver in uncirculated quality and has a frosted finish. The motive depicts a kangaroo drinking at a waterhole and thus thematizes the merciless heat in the Australian desert, to which the kangaroo has adapted perfectly. The design also includes information on the denomination, weight and fineness. The reverse shows the Dan Thorne portrait of King Charles III and the year of issue “2024”.

First issued in 1993, the kangaroo coin is one of the best-known issues from the Royal Australian Mint’s coin program. It not only achieved worldwide fame thanks to its classic motive, but is still considered a stable investment for investors and collectors today. The premium bullion coin is limited to just 10,000 pieces worldwide and is delivered in a slab.
