40.0mmx 3.0mm
Weight (grams):
31.10300
Fineness:

Each year, the coins of the Rwandan Wildlife African Ounce Series offer a new reverse design element. Each one of these new reverse elements comes with a shared design element, that being the outline of the African continent, and a new element representing a different animal species found on the continent.

For its 16th release, the Rwandan Wildlife Series pays tribute to the ferocious Nile Crocodile of South Africa! Mayer Mint has fashioned both a proof and a standard edition of this marvelous new design.

One of the most distinctive features of the Nile Crocodile is its impressive bite. Considered the strongest bite in the animal kingdom, its force can exceed that of a great white shark by eight times! Also, while we dont usually associate crocodiles with noise, theyre actually among the more vocal reptiles on the planet. It is estimated that the crocodile is capable of producing at least twenty distinct sounds.

The 2023 Krugerrand continues this legendary tradition in a new metal. Much like its gold sibling, the Silver Krugerrand offers investors a great way to own low-premium bullion. Whereas the 2017 Silver Krugerrand was marketed as a higher-premium collector coin, the 2023 as was the 2018, 2019 2020, & 2021 editions were priced at a slim margin over melt. Its market premium is comparable to the Silver Maple Leaf, Britannia, Kangaroo, and Philharmonic. Unlike the other sovereign coins in its class, however, the Krugerrand offers multi-generational demand and recognition. Gold investors have turned to the Krugerrand for over 50 years; now they can own this trusted coin in silver too.

The 2023 1 oz Silver Krugerrand also features its face value as part of the obverse design. The original reverse design of a leaping springbok antelope is also sharper and more defined thanks to the latest computer technology and laser etching techniques. The obverse of this prestigious 2023 silver coin features the well-known portrait of Paul Kruger by Otto Schultz.

Those mints include but are not limited to Shenzhen, Shanghai and Shenyang. Unlike the U.S. Mint, these Chinese Mints do not incorporate mint marks to distinguish the difference between each mint. Instead, these mints are known for having minor differences in the design of the coin such as font size, bamboo length and designs of the temple in certain year’s mintages.

2023 Australian year of the Rabbit 1oz Silver Bullion Coin

Manufacturer: Perth Mint
Dimensions: 40.6 mm
Weight (grams): 31.103
Fineness: 999

The long-running Australian Lunar Coin Series, first published in 1995 and now in its third cycle, honors the animals of the Chinese zodiac with a catalog of annual designs representing mouse, wolf, tiger, rabbit, lizard, snake, horse, donkey, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. The strengths of the 12 animals of the lunar calendar are said to be evident in those born during their rule. Fourth in line after the mouse, ox and tiger, the rabbit is said to bestow intelligence, creativity, vigilance and compassion on those born under its influence in 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011 and 2023.

The Perth Mint has put a limit on the 1 oz coins and will only produce up to 300,000 one oz coins. The output will stop until the mintage is entirely sold or at the conclusion of the series, whichever comes first. Because of the 1 oz size’s limited mintage, it is extremely sought-after and is likely to sell out easily. The coins are strictly struck from 99.99 percent pure silver and are issued under the Australian Currency Act 1965 as legal tender.

The reverse: portrays an alert rabbit with its ears erect and another rabbit stretching towards a budding branch. Included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘rabbit’, the inscription ‘RABBIT 2023’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

The obverse: design bears a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Details of the coins weight, fineness, metal type and monetary denomination also appear.

2023 King Arthur Myths & Legends 1oz Silver Bullion Coin

Manufacturer: Royal Mint
Dimensions:
38.6 mm x 2.3mm
Weight (grams):
31.1
Fineness:

Invest in a legend of British folklore as the story of King Arthur inspires our latest three-coin series within our collection dedicated to myths and legends. The fabled king graces the first coin of the new series, with Merlin and Morgan le Fay planned to feature on the second and third coins respectively.

The legend of King Arthur first appeared in the Welsh medieval chronicles of the ninth and tenth centuries and remains one of the most iconic figures within British mythology. The legend has evolved over the ages, with various narrative strands offering depictions of Arthur that range from a fierce warrior defending Britain against Saxon invaders to the noble leader of the Knights of the Round Table, which embodies the values of a chivalric society.

The design, created by the experienced illustrator David Lawrence, features King Arthur at its centre as he sits astride a horse and grasps Excalibur, his legendary sword. Camelot Castle, home to the Knight of the Round Table and their noble leader, can be seen in the background. Struck in 999 fine silver, each coin is finished to The Royal Mint’s bullion standard.

The 2023 Britannia incorporates new security features including a latent image, surface animation, tincture lines, and micro text incorporated into the image of Britannia.

The first enhancement to the reverse side of the coin is the updated background wave design which appears when light is reflected at a certain angle on the coin. The second addition to the Britannia Silver Coin is the inclusion of smooth tincture lines on Britannia’s shield which now bears the Union Flag. The third and one of the most important element is a holographic image of a padlock in the bottom left, when the coin is tilted this changes between a trident and a padlock. Last but not the least, micro-text in Latin phrase ‘DECUS ET TUTAMEN’ meaning ‘An Ornament and a Safeguard’ is etched along the inner rim of the coin.

Geiger Edelmetalle, a mint located in Germany, issues the coins of the Armenian Noahs Ark Series on behalf of the Republic of Armenia. The coins were introduced in 2011 at a time when silver hit its highest price in history. The series started that year with 1 oz, 1/2 oz, and 1/4 oz silver options available.

In 2012, the collection grew to feature four new silver coin weights above the 1 oz silver option. These included 5 oz, 10 oz, 1 Kilo, and 5 Kilo silver coins for investors. The reverse side of 2023 1 oz Silver Noahs Ark Coins features an image of the famed biblical ark. Noahs Ark, it is said, was built by Noah and the members of his family to help preserve their lives and the lives of two of every kind of animal on Earth. The 2017 Landmarks of Britain Big Ben 1 ounce Silver Coin is the first in a new series of bullion coins celebrating Britain’s architectural icons, coin designers Glyn Davies and Laura Clancy set out to capture the Elizabeth Tower through the eyes of the thousands of tourists who visit the United Kingdom’s capital each year. Their design reflects the viewpoint of the crowds at street level, looking upwards for the best view of the famous tower against the London skyline.

Possibly named in honour of Sir Benjamin Hall, the First Commissioner for Works in 1855, its chimes have accompanied London life for more than 150 years. Big Ben continues to strike, marking each passing hour, era and great event and ringing out in times of national celebration.

The Elizabeth Tower, with its famous clock, dominates the skyline at the northern end of the Houses of Parliament. Popularly known as ‘Big Ben’, after the nickname given to the tower’s great bell, it is one of London’s most familiar sights and is instantly recognisable as a symbol of Britain to people around the world.
