This 1 Troy Oz .999 Fine Silver Round is a beautiful, unique investment-grade silver piece. The round depicts a fearsome skeleton pirate holding a firebomb while wearing a sword and pistol, with the words “Dead Men Tell No Tales” on the obverse. The round’s reverse shows the silver round’s purity and weight. The design is inspired by the golden age of piracy in the Caribbean during the 1600s and 1700s. Pirates often raided merchant and military ships exploiting their cargo with handmade weapons like the firebomb, an early form of hand grenade. According to legends, pirates used the phrase “dead men tell no tales” to explain that killing someone was the best way to keep them quiet.

The obverse features a Skeleton Pirate wearing a traditional pirate Captain uniform, eye patch on his left eye and a bird on his left shoulder. Holstered on his right hip is a flintlock and on his left a Pirate saber with his left hand resting on it. And in his right hand he is holding a bomb with a lit fuse. Behind him a Pirate ship can be seen and two a crows nest with a flag raised. Also on the edges of the coin it says Dead Men Tell No Tales.

On the reverse a lot of different pirate weapons can be seen on patterned on around a Pirate ship wheel. Such as Cannons, sabers, and Flintlocks. There is a Pirate skeleton head on top of the wheel. It also says FINE SILVER on the bottom in a scroll style Banner.
