This silver bullion coin was struck by the renowned Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver and is part of the Wonders of Australia series, which celebrates the iconic landscapes and natural wonders of the Australian continent. The focus of this issue is the Australian Outback, one of the most impressive and culturally significant regions in the world. The motive features a variety of typical Australian wildlife, including a dingo, an eagle, emus, a frilled lizard, and kangaroos. The design is complemented by characteristic Outback landscape elements, as well as the Perth Mint’s mintmark “P” and the year of issue 2026. making it one of the largest contiguous arid regions on Earth. This region is home to over 3,000 plant species as well as hundreds of animal species, including around 140 mammal species, 800 bird species, and more than 400 reptile species that are adapted to the extreme conditions.
