The new Somalia Leopard 2026 release from the successful African Wildlife Series was struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The African Wildlife Series from Somalia is issued annually with a changing Leopard design and is highly popular with collectors and investors around the world. The design depicts a Leopard powerfully striding across a tree trunk. The inscriptions “AFRICAN WILDLIFE”, “LEOPARD” and “1 oz Ag 999.9” surround the design. The reverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Somalia, which includes the Somali flag as well as two Leopards. The denomination and year of issue are also incorporated into the design.

Native to Africa and Asia, the Leopard (Panthera pardus) is a solitary animal and, together with the Lion, Tiger and Jaguar, is one of the most graceful and powerful big cats in the world. It is an excellent climber and, unlike most other big cats, is even able to climb down trees headfirst. Its exceptional climbing ability also helps the Leopard protect its prey – it often drags it high into trees, where Lions and Hyenas are unable to reach it. The limited silver bullion coin is delivered in a protective coin capsule.

• Obverse: Displays the Somalian Coat of Arms and the date along with the face value of 100 shillings.
• Reverse: side of the coin changes every year and this year features a Leopard powerfully striding across a tree trunk, it is accompanied by the inscriptions “AFRICAN WILDLIFE” and “LEOPARD” in addition to the weight and purity of the coin “1 oz Ag 999.9”.
