Struck annually by the Scottsdale Mint, these coins have garnered attention since their debut in 2021. Each year brings a new design, and the 2023 release marks the first appearance of the Ghana coat of arms on the obverse. Coins are annually released in various strikes from BU, rhodium-plated, and antique among others.

Obverse

The obverse of each 2023 Republic of Ghana Alien Silver Coin features the Ghana coat of arms. This emblem is seen in the middle and is framed by identifying marks of the coin as well as crop circles. Inscriptions read 20 CEDIS, FREEDOM AND JUSTICE, REPUBLIC OF GHANA, 2023, 999 FINE SILVER, and 1 TROY OUNCE.

Reverse

The reverse field of the 2023 Republic of Ghana Alien 1 oz Coin showcases two aliens. One alien is seen staring at the viewer, while the other is seen looking off into the distance. In the background, we can also see a spaceship heading straight toward a planet. Inscriptions read INVASION IS HERE.
