The 2022 James Bond 007 60th Anniversary 1oz Silver Bullion Coin comes in a protective Coin capsule.
COIN INFORMATION
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of James Bond, the Perth Mint has issued this premium silver bullion coin struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The motive features the typical Bond 007 gun logo, which is arranged in multiple versions around the emblem for the anniversary, “60 Years of Bond”. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination, the fineness, the weight and the year of issue.
The successful Bond series began in 1962 with the film “Dr. No™”. At that time, Sean Connery embodied the Secret Service Agent. In the following 60 years, 24 more action-packed adventures based on the works of Ian Fleming were filmed. A total of six actors took on the role of the MI6 agent. To this day, the film series continues to delight viewers of all ages around the world.
Obverse
The obverse of the coin shows the crowned mature head of Queen Elizabeth II facing right (her effigy known as the “Fourth Portrait”). The Queen wears the “Girls of Great Britain and Ireland” diamond tiara, a wedding gift from Queen Mary (Her Majesty’s grandmother) in 1947 – which she also has on the Machin and the Gottwald portraits. In small letters below the head, the artist’s initials IRB (for Ian Rank-Broadley). Around the effigy is the monarch’s legend, the date of issue and the value: QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1 oz 9999 Ag 2022 TUVALU 1 DOLLAR.
Reverse
The coin’s reverse shows the 60 YEARS OF BOND anniversary logo, surrounded by multiple depictions of he iconic James Bond 007 gun logo.
