COIN INFORMATION
The STAR WARS™ – Mandalorian™premium bullion coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and is dedicated to Grogu™ also known as “The Child™”.
The motive features the adorable Grogu™ trying to eat a soup with live tentacles sticking out of it. His big eyes are wide open and one hand grasps a spoon expectantly. The inscription “1 oz 999 Fine Silver” and the copyright are also included in the design.
The reverse features the Niue coat of arms and the inscriptions “TWO DOLLARS” and “2022”. Grogu™ was a force-sensitive child and belonged to the same species as Jedi Grandmaster Yoda™. Born around 41 VSY, he grew up in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant™, being taught by various masters. Then, at the age of about fifty, he met the Mandalorian bounty hunter. He was supposed to track it down for a dubious client, but then decided to take Grogu™ back from the client and protect it.
- Obverse: Depicts the Niue coat of arms, the face value and year of issue.
- Reverse: Shows the officially licensed depiction of Grogu from the Disney+ series the Mandalorian, sitting at a table eating a bowl of soup. The metal content, purity and Lucasfilm copyright are also displayed on the revers.
