The 2020 South Korea Zi Sin Rattus 1oz Silver Bullion Medal comes in a protective Coin capsule.
COIN INFORMATION
The new Zi Sin Series from KOMSCO is also known as the Twelve Guardians. For the Korean people, the belief in the Twelve Guardians reflected a collection of twelve commanders who would lead God’s army in the protection against evil forces coming from all 12 directions. This offered protection to the world from all directions at all times.
The Fourth release in the Zi:Sin Series comes from KOMSCO with the design of Rattus. The collection features images of the 12 Guardians, with each of the guardians representing leading soldiers in the armies of God. In Korean culture, these individuals represent protectors who serve as the leading edge for the armies of good when facing off with evil in the world.
ZI:SIN Rattus is the Queen of the underground cave at the Chiwoo Empire and has the ability to forsee danger. Dressed in a celestial robe with a dagger on her waist, Rattus waits at the top of the cave to enjoy the darkness and brightness of the world under the full moon. It is here that she is able to foresee that a great war is coming, and alerts Chiwoo Cheonwang.
For the 2020 release, the obverse design features a new Gwi-myeon-wa, known as “Nok-yoo-gi-myeon-wa”. Traditionally, Koreans built Gwi-myeon-wa and hung them on both ends of their roofs to scare off evil spirits.

Good medal for the 4th Guardian, only 22000 made, 1st medal was 33000, 2nd and 3rd were 40000. For series collectors the 4th is going to be very scarce. Love the new shield on the back and the Ag hologram under the shield. Rattus is a beautiful woman. I also like the fact that the medal perimeter is smooth unlike normal silver bullion coins.
